Whoo hooo... fresh snow everywhere just in time for the weakened. New snow in this report is as of Friday morning, storm totals are since Wednesday night. Durango Mountain has Snowdown events this weekend and save money on tickets at Costco... Wolf Creek has Locals Day on Sunday.

Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory): 8 New. 8 Storm. 8 New This Week. 52 Inch Base. 87/88 runs open. 9/10 chairs running (lifts 2, 5 and 6 don't run on normal weekdays). P/PP/MG surface. 37 runs groomed. You can save money by purchasing your lift tickets at Costco in Albuquerque. The annual celebration of winter, Snowdown, brings together the entire Durango community. There are more than 60 different events including an evening parade Friday night, Ski Softball Tournament, Snowdown Balloon Rally and more. Events are in town Wednesday through Sunday with on-mountain events this weekend. Details at snowdown.org.

Wolf Creek: 9 New. 11 Storm. 11 New This Week. 74 Inch Mid-Mountain Base. 7/7 chairs running. 77/77 trails open. P/PP/MG surface. Waterfall area, Knife Ridge, Horseshoe Bowl all now open. On Saturday, February 4th, there will be a Ladies’ Ski and Board Clinic. Ladies can purchase a lift ticket and 2-hour morning lesson of any ability for $63. Sunday, February 5th, is the Super Bowl Race. It’s free and open to skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities. Also on Sunday, February 5th, there will be a Telemark Clinic where telemarkers can purchase a lift ticket and 2-hour morning lesson of any ability for only $63. Sunday, February 5th, is also Local Appreciation Day where lift tickets are $33 for adults and $19 for seniors and children. No ID required.

Silverton Mountain: 3 New. 3 Storm. 3 New This Week. 73 Inch Base. Open now for guided-only skiing Thursday through Sundays.

Telluride Resort: 3 New. 3 Storm. 3 New This Week. 49 Inch Base. 101/127 Trails. 18/18 Lifts. Palmyra Peak, Black Iron Bowl, Gold Hill Chutes, Gold Hill Stairs and chute 9 are all open now.
